Steven Gibbs says that the HDR works best with a Magnetic Vortex. A gravity vortex is dangerous he says. Perhaps that is because the HDR generates a magnetic field when you turn it on. That said, I like to find a magnetic vortex and for that use a cell sensor. People also call them EMF meters that detect an anomaly in our magnetic field which is present when a vortex is open.
