Last week four asteroids flew by us. That is a bit close says me. Perhaps we need a device to protect us. Yeah, that would be a good thing, but it is expensive. For example, we might use a laser to nudge them into a new orbit that is far away from us. Asteroids are a major worry. They could erase me.
