genius or insane

Why is it the most geniuses are a bit insane. Frankly, I do not have an answer. Could it be that is a limitation to prevent all of us from using more processing power. Often, fellows will ask if a man is a genius or insane. Just a bit of both is my say. Great men often have feet of clay... a bright sunny day is followed by a bit of gray.
