HEY, ever see some 50's time travel movies. Back in the 50's it was great to be an american. Fact is we had just won a war. People saw america win. It was bad for germans. Things were even worse for japanese. People in the 50's thought 2010 was a time of wonder - the 21st century even. Robots walking down the street and over head flying cars. Colonies growing on our moon. Yeah, and the first men on mars.

People when asked about where they would time travel back to are often fond of the 50's era. It was the birth of rock and roll and many other types of music. A time of many jobs and few woes. Back then the future seemed like a wonderful vision. There was little crime. People were safe and secure. 50's slang words and lingo point to a time filled with joy. However, all was not well as america was in the middle of a cold war. At that time we did fear the russians.
