soaring corn price
People need to know that we have soaring corn prices. This means, down the road, higher costs for milk and eggs. Farmers are seeing a price squeeze. OK so we blame the flood this year. It drowned millions of acres. Also, it did cause flood insurance to go up. Sadly, many farms are near rivers. Rightly so, that is because rich bottom land has high yields for corn. However, these lands are the first to flood when waters are rising. Friends, I expect this year a smaller crop.
