Time Travel

People when asked about where they would time travel back to are often fond of the 50's era. It was the birth of rock and roll and many other types of music. A time of many jobs and few woes. Problem banks on rise

Back in 2008 I predicted that in 2009 over 100 banks would fall on money woes. The actual number was 140 that failed last year. This year things are even worse. Unless gov comes in. Well, we could see a major collapse of our financial infrastructure. Back in 2007 only three banks failed but as more people lose jobs that cannot pay their mortgage and put a drag on the economy. This means more banks close draining even more money. Number of problem banks is rising.

Google please use VP8 on Youtube

Google bought VP8 and could start using it on Youtube instead of that clunky flash that is so slow and grim and prop. Please Google free VP8 and use in on Youtube. What we need is to move away from Flash to a new vision. The future is video and we want it to be free and open source.

Oil prices

Today oil shot over $80 per barrel and is rising. The future price of oil is up. Please enjoy that cheap gas now. In the future it will become very expensive. Less carbon dioxide is the good news. However, as gas prices rise, people have less money. That mean sales go down at stores and they have to lay off more persons. These people not rely on meager unemployment pay. Often they will lose their home because they have no money. It is also bad for our economy.

interest rates rise

Here is a problem in that we face an excess flow of cash to banks generating inflation which will reduce the purchasing power of consumers. Most workers have been forced to take cuts in pay. Right now we see a reduction in hours as well as wages. Add to that an increase in taxes by states and we have a perfect storm of woe. Today the federal reserve is increasing the discount rate to 0.75%

True, this may not sound like much, but it will force banks to tighten their screws. Basically, this means less lending and what lending does take place will require a higher cost to the money. Well, one HDRKID prediction is that things will get worse. This is an interest rate rise. It will pour more fuel on the fires of an economic crisis.

There is a man called jimmy. He is building a time portal for an HDR. This is good news. I want more people to start using the unit. Hope he posts his results this spring.

Future Food Shortage

There is now a new agri chemical merger. It is Yara and Terra fertilizer giants that make ammonia. This is essential to growing crops. Together they rule the fertilizer market in america. This could be part of the reason. I mean the reason for food shortages in the days to come. This is a phenomenon reported by many remote viewers.

eurozone is a euromess

The eurozone is a euromess. Problems are not over, but will become far worse. It is not just greece. Also in trouble are italy, portugal and spain. Back in 2005 I told people to buy bullion as in physical gold and hold metals most precious. The debunkers laughed and said gold which was then $400/oz would fall to $200/oz. Well, here we are. It is now 2010 and gold has nearly tripled in price. Today it is over $1100/oz and rising. I told people that gold was a haven most safe and secure. A lot better than paper. Of that you can be sure. The future price of gold is much higher than now.

russia sells iran missiles

Talk about pouring fuel on a fire and then some. This is bad news. It seems russia is going to sell iran missiles which the point does miss. Oh, we can't make this stuff up guy. It is just too sad about iran I mean. There will be a war very soon.

There is trouble in the eurozone. Sadly, the euro has fallen for the fifth straight week due to concerns over greece. If something is not done, we could be witnessing the breakup of europe.

The movie TRON gave us an AI computer and a touch enabled surface, but that is not the future we see. What is coming is more like VR and it will soon appear. Future user interfaces will be mind tools that make use of images. Get ready for what is coming.

OK many of you are aware of the 2009 model HDR from Steven Gibbs. Well, he has a new model for 2010. This is an interesting new one. It has numberless knobs and comes with a new instruction manual. I want to take is apart and see all the changes, with emphasis on box internals such as the new cap.
