Etsy faces a major challenger - amazon. Yeah, we did say major. Frankly, we wonder if they can even survive. Certainly, this situation is quite worrisome.

Office Depot

Office Depot will close more stores this year. It already closed 400 and will close 300 more. Yeah, that is worrisome. Hey, just what can we say. Personally, I feel that we never did emerge from our ongoing recession. Frankly, it is a negative view. That said, things do not look very promising.

Facebook is launching a new service. Video is king and music is queen. Actually, I prefer to listen to music. Like we can do that when driving a car. Still, we do hope that Facebook will start playing some movies. Practically all they have is boring to the max. Oh wow, I see a lot of pictures of people on holiday journeys. Hey, we do agree. After all, going on a vacation is super max.

Uber

Uber adds in app messaging. This is between drivers and passengers. Well, that is so max. I just updated my Uber app.

GMO corn

I have found that birds do not like GMO corn. It must taste funny for some reason. Yeah, it just is not the same. Cardinal do like to peck at my car mirrors. Try some organic corn. Yeah, they do like that one. However, from GMO corn we stay away.

tech brands

Oh wow, tech brands are taking over. Just look at amazon. Really, they are quickly growing into an empire. Here is why they grow. Most brands have retail exposure. Hey, apple has some store even. Well, that costs a lot of money. Expect a lot of future commerce...  to move online in coming years.

Future transportation

Future transportation might not look like this one. However, we need to get away from the gas car. There are just too many noxious emissions. Perhaps we can use electric cars. However, we might be trapped by their limited range. Also, charging stations are few and electrically powered vehicles tend to be rather expensive. Yo, the future waits for no one. Let us find a new way.

Amtrak train derails

Amtrak train derails so there were minor injuries.  This is a serious concern. It will impact passengers. Often, I like to ride the train, but lack of safety is an issue.

Hotels do hate air bnb and for many reasons. They charge enormous prices. Just remember that we are not made of money. Remember when motel 6 was six dollars - yes six. It is $79.95 now. That is more than ten times my fine one. Well, my salary did not go up 10X. Definitelyy, times are tough for all of us. Let us hope they do wake up. Just maybe they can lower their excessive prices some.

Good news in sony. They have a new camera sensor. It can shoot 1000 FPS, and that means one thousand frames per sec. All of this at 1080p or full HD high res. Welll, it is ready to be placed into a smartphone. Get ready for some slow motion movies. Sadly, it is a tiny sensor. Yeah, not something that we can rec.

Digital camo is eerie. People wonder why it works even. Like there has to be a reason. Still, there we are. Most militaries are using it now. Well, it looks so blocky and square. Yeah, this is similar to an ancient video game. Basically, one from the good old 80's that is low res.

Ghosts are scary. Few have ever seen one. Those that have do not understand much about the world of energy. Often it is better that they remain unseen. After all, they can really scare a person.

Did we say give up. Well, that is what we see coming. Retail cannot compete with internet due to over head increases. Steven Gibbs stops using radio shack parts now. Digikey is the place he goes. They have all the stuff he needs with a few exceptions such as soft iron cores. That said, he is looking for alternatives because radio shack is not long for our universe.
