Robot to mow your lawn?

The Lawnbott is the ticket. This slick red robot will take care of your chores, well, one of them. Think of it as a roomba for grass. The only problem is price $3,000.00 yipes. That is too much for a mower. The future should see lower priced lawn mower robots.

Inventor Steven Gibbs

As many of you know, Inventor Steven Gibbs is working on a new device called the QA35a or Quantum Accelerator. This new box will be a lot more portable than the HDR. It uses copper plates instead of an electromagnet. I will post more information on the QA35a and other inventions of Steven Gibbs soon.

BTW, Inventor Steven Gibbs was on coast to coast with Geroge Noory this month. Patricia Ress was also a guest. The subjects discussed included the Hyper Dimensional Resonator and time travel. The QA35a was not talked about with George Noory, but could be in an upcoming show.

SpaceShipTwo

In what seems right out of the pages of science fiction, Sir Richard Branson is getting his rocketplane ready. SpaceShipTwo will carry people into orbit and back. It is the first commercial space plane in history.

Richard Branson has Virgin Galactic and soon regular people will go into space. Well, we soon will be able to explode the final frontier.

Sears is sinking

A few years ago I predicted hard times for Sears. The giant retailer is taking on more water than the Titanic. The stock has lost half its value and investors are in a state of panic. People blame the mortgage meltdown, the liquidity crisis, The high price of fuel, even the weather.

However, the real reason is not the dingy old stores or rude sales clerks, but the fact that the world economy is entering a state of catastrophic collapse. The markets are imploding as the house of cards falls. I saw this happen using the HDR years ago.

Sears is sinking fast. A sign that difficult days lie ahead.

Rat heart grown in lab

It seems that every day new advances in science take place. In a stunning breakthrough, reseachers have grown a rat heart in a laboratory. It sounds like sci-fi, but this will make growing organs for humans a reality in the near future.

I predict that soon people will get cloned organs from tanks to replace their failing organs. The future is here.

World of the future

In a jump to the 2290, I saw a revolution take place. Robots tired of being slave to humans fought for their freedom. It was a dark retro-futuristic place that reminded me of Metropolis 2002. Sadly there was no love story like that of Kenichi (human boy) and Tima (robot girl).

Still I used to wonder if the future would be like Chobits with a peaceful coexistence of man and machine, or a constant struggle like Metropolis. There are many similarities between Chobits and Metropolis, but the big difference is that one is beautiful and bright, while the other is dark and dangerous.

Future of illness

In this age of long term care and assisted living facilities can we expect something better? What is the future of the disabled? What if we can do better and find cures. What will the future bring?

Well, most people expect better chemicals, but that approach leads to a DEAD end. Most illness is cause because the body is too weak to fight off disease. We need to increase the life force, then the body can win and repair itself.

In the future people lie in these booth that allow them to regenerate a lost limb or organ.

Sunset for America

It was once a powerful empire, but something happened. The factories were all moved offshore, then the white collar high paying high tech jobs were outsource, then the corporate headquarters were relocated to low tax venues.

In a few years the great nation was a hollow empty shell of what had once been. It looked like those abandoned factories that are as silent as a tomb. It happened so gradually that we could barely notice. Then one day we woke up to find that we were poor.

Well, most of the hobby type electronics stores sell the components, but other than Steven Gibbs I do not know of anyone making the unit. I do believe Steven Gibbs does not sell it because he is afraid of the STM as it is untested technology.

Will humans live with robots?

In the anime series Chobits, a human boy (Hideki) falls in love with a robot girl (Chii). This series is about the struggles of an unconventional relationship in the future. However, will this sort of thing happen in the days to come?

Well, the road ahead is long and hard, but in the days that follow, humans that have robot companions are seen as losers. Much like people who spend their day in fantasy holodeck novels or playing virtual reality games where they are king.

Still, we will have humans living with robots in the future and many other problems presented in the anime series will happen in the world of tomorrow.

Corrosion Control

The Democratic Debate was a bit caustic. We need some corrosion control. The attacks were mostly against Hill & Bill, but still. It seems that we will have a nasty fight for contol. I predict Hillary Clinton will be president.

Silent Spring?

Rachel Carlson wrote a book called "Silent Spring" about the disappearance of bird. Each year I see fewer and fewer bird. This is due to pollution. Now, I never see bluebirds and woodpeckerers are rare. Here is one that I saw today.

Time Bomb Under America

The Yellowstone SuperVolcano is a Time Bomb Under America. A huge plume of magma has flowed to the surface. It this volcano erupts it will be the biggest disaster in recorded history.

If it does erupt it could be the event the ancient maya spoke about. They set the date at 2012.

The Time Traveller

Her is a video of a manwho calls himself the time traveller. He claims to have gone to the future and seen his other self. He even has in the video footage of what he says is the future.

We can only hope it is true as that means we survive the next few years withouta major nuclear war.
