Steven Gibbs is substituting new components in HDR units. He told me he is no longer using the Radio Shack blue capacitor. Instead uses a new cap.
Not sure why he does not use more part from Digikey instead, but a change in harmonics could be the reason... Will keep you posted on the lasted news. Especially when it concerns Steven Gibbs HDR units and experiments.
