I did install Internet Explorer 9 or IE9 on a machine of mine. It is like bad news. Does not work very well, and that is the understatement of the year. Yeah, I know it is a beta, but this one is hard to use. Steer clear of IE9 for now.

Banking is necessary in our new economy. However, we see failures increase. Look at TARP when our gov gave them a lot of money. OK so bankers are not just about money, because the bank is like a filter that decides who get loans to buy a house, boat, or car.

Hulu Plus will do a 50% cut in price. The old $9.95 is soon gone. Make way for $4.95 early next year. Hey, some say it could happen even sooner. Yeah, like this year. Well, that is good news. I love hulu, but ten dollars a month was a bit much for me. Still, a five note is a great leap for us. Hope they do great with their new service.

Well, here is the latest news. Speaking of news you can use. The HDRKID Social Network is up. People can start to join. All is ready now. Basically, stories in HDRKID Social Network are submitted by users. They can then vote up those they like the most and those articles are sent to the front page.

Future is now

People, what can we say. Future is now. Google has 1gbps gigabyte per second fiber installed at Stanford university campus. This is the start of the big one. Actually, for far too long we had to deal with slow internet connection that did load as slowly as the grass grows. Hey, time is now. With 1gbps we can stream hi def 3D movies.

Oil prices climb as dollar drops in our economic crisis. Most of us could see an oil rise coming. People, we hit peak oil in 2005 and it is down hill from here until we hit rock bottom which is soon. There is no way out for us. US has a lot of coal, but we are afraid to burn it due to the threat of global warming.

Folks, what can we now say. Basically, it is a case of Social Media taking over. They are not tools for the nerds anymore. Real people are now using. There is a case to be made for using social media instead of a face to face conversation with members of your group. However, I wonder if social media will the CB radio join.
